Kay Jewelers will honor Zales warranties, firm says
Both stores are owned by same parent company
Customers who have purchased jewelry from Zales at Crossroads Mall in Fort Dodge will be able take their products to Kay Jewelers to have them serviced, according to a company official.
Zales, known as the diamond store since 1924, announced the closure of its Fort Dodge store last week. Its last day of business is June 26.
“To offer the best service to our Zales customers at the Crossroads location we will be honoring their warranty at the Kay Jewelers location,” Frank Cirillo, director of public relations for Signet Jewelry, said in a written statement.
Signet Jewelers, headquartered in Akron, Ohio, is the parent company of both Zales and Kay Jewelers.
Kay Jewelers has a store located at 2616 Fifth Ave. S. in Fort Dodge.
