UPDATE: Police identify victims

-Messenger photo by Chad Thompson Fort Dodge first responders are on scene of a fatal shooting early Monday morning just north of downtown Fort Dodge. Fort Dodge Police Capt. Ryan Gruenberg confirmed two males were fatally shot. The victims have not been identified. Police secured an area in an alley near the intersection of Third Avenue North and North Ninth Street. Family and loved ones gathered near the area sometime after midnight. The Fort Dodge Police Department, Fort Dodge Fire Department, and Webster County medical examiner, responded. The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation has been called in to assist. The investigation is ongoing.
UPDATE – The Fort Dodge Police Department has identified brothers Marion Rhodes, 37, and Eldominic Rhodes, 34, as the two men who were shot and killed in Fort Dodge early Monday morning.
They were found in the alleyway behind 910 Second Ave. N. around 12:03 a.m. Monday.
No suspects have been identified in the case.
