Firefighters from the Badger Fire Department work to extinguish an RV on fire in the ArborPro complex on Sunday afternoon.

A Sunday afternoon fire tore through an RV being stored in the yard of ArborPro, located near the intersection of Nelson Avenue and 170th Street in Fort Dodge.

The Fort Dodge Fire Department and the Badger Fire Department were called to the fire around 5:30 p.m.

According to FDPD Capt. Jeff Hill, the owners of the RV were getting it ready for the season when they noticed smoke in the engine compartment.

The fire damage to the RV was extensive and the vehicle was a total loss.

No injuries were reported.
