ROCKWELL CITY — The Calhoun County Community Foundation is seeking grant applications as it prepares to distribute $42,000 for betterment projects.

The $42,000 was given to the foundation by the Grow Greene County Gaming Corp.

The grants will be for 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations or government entities for projects that positively impact the quality of life in Calhoun County.

To be eligible for grant consideration, applicants must have a capital project that exceeds $15,000. Grant applications will be reviewed by the board of directors of the Calhoun County Community Foundation.

The grant application deadline is noon on Feb. 15.

Grant awards will be announced on March 9.
