Dessert with the Docs will be July 14
Dessert with the Docs will be 6:30 p.m. July 14 at the Fort Dodge Public Library with Jenny Schreier, PA-C Trimark Family Practice, talking about “Health Maintenance Tips for the Older Adult.” Programs are held the second Monday of every month at the library. They are free, and a dessert is served. The program for Aug. 11 will be presented by Dawn Byrne of the Trinity Sleep Disorders Unit. No registration is required; however, seating is limited. Two car washes are planned to raise funds for a promotional dance DVD featuring The Chosen Ones, a group of local teens.
The first event will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Graham Tire parking lot, 110 S. 25th St.
Local support asked for Boy Scout injured in tornado
Justin Mueller, 15, son of Mark and Julie (Neeson) Mueller, of Omaha, Neb., and the grandson of Jerry and Nora Neeson, Fort Dodge, is recovering from injuries sustained in the tornado that hit the Little Sioux Boys Scout Ranch on June 11 near Onawa.
