AGLOW meeting set for Thursday

May 10, 2008

Fort Dodge AGLOW will hold an afternoon meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Fort Dodge Banquet Center, 3521 Fifth Ave. S.

Speaker for the event will be Nancy James, a graduate of Rhema and Victory Bible Institute, Tulsa, Okla. She is the founder and president of Triumph Ministries in Bastrop, Texas. James began traveling across the nation in 1991 in full-time ministry.

Everyone is welcome. Admission is $3. A prayer meeting will begin at 10:45 a.m. at the center and be followed by the meeting.

The Fort Dodge Area Inter-Faith Forum annual meeting will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Grace Lutheran Church, 211 S. Ninth St.

Dinner begins at 6 p.m. The Rev. Matthew Martens, forum president, will preside at the meeting.

A Mother’s Day program will be Sunday at Second Baptist Church, 1827 Fourth Ave. S.

Morning worship service will be at 11 a.m. with the Mother’s Day program at 2 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Mother’s Board of Second Baptist Church.
