AGLOW meeting set for Thursday
Fort Dodge AGLOW will hold an afternoon meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Fort Dodge Banquet Center, 3521 Fifth Ave. S.
Speaker for the event will be Nancy James, a graduate of Rhema and Victory Bible Institute, Tulsa, Okla. She is the founder and president of Triumph Ministries in Bastrop, Texas. James began traveling across the nation in 1991 in full-time ministry.
Everyone is welcome. Admission is $3. A prayer meeting will begin at 10:45 a.m. at the center and be followed by the meeting.
Faith Lutheran hosts gospel music program
PALMER — Faith Lutheran Church will hold an evening of gospel music at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
The porgram will feature Caleb and Tamera Waddington, along with their seven children.
Inter-Faith Forum to meet Thursday
The Fort Dodge Area Inter-Faith Forum annual meeting will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Grace Lutheran Church, 211 S. Ninth St.
Dinner begins at 6 p.m. The Rev. Matthew Martens, forum president, will preside at the meeting.
Mother’s Day program set at Second Baptist
A Mother’s Day program will be Sunday at Second Baptist Church, 1827 Fourth Ave. S.
Morning worship service will be at 11 a.m. with the Mother’s Day program at 2 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Mother’s Board of Second Baptist Church.
United Methodist Women to meet Tuesday
United Methodist Women from Fort Dodge will attend a United Methodist Women mission study on Israel and Palenstine from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Gathering Room at Trinity United Methodist Church, 838 N. 25th St.
