Gunderson joins staff at funeral home

July 20, 2008

Rob Gunderson, a licensed funeral director, has joined the staff of Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Gunderson is a 2003 graduate of St. Edmond High School. Upon graduating from Kirkwood Community College, Cedar Rapids, in 2005, he entered the School of Mortuary Science at Des Moines Area Community College, graduating in 2006. Prior to joining Gunderson’s, he served on the staff at Hamilton Funeral Home Des Moines. Gunderson will live in Fort Dodge.

Spain is a native of Bancroft. She attends Benedictine College, Atchison, Kan., where she will be a sophomore this fall and plans to major in biology.
