Drive with care
To the editor: I feel the need to speak out to parents, law enforcement and the public in general. When did a stop sign or for that matter a stop light become optional? Too many lives are being taken because someone didn’t stop for a stop sign or red light. And this isn’t just one age group to blame. Think about it, the last time no one was there and so you go on through, but it becomes a bad habit and eventually you ignore stop signs completely. Driving is supposed to be a privilege, laws are not just for a few people. Just recently teenagers were killed due to stop sign violations. These parents will never get to see their children graduate, go to college, even get to go to prom. Wake up drivers. Cars only do what the driver makes them do. Judy Dorothy Fort Dodge
