June 2008

6-8 — Frontier Days, ‘‘Heroes of the Old West,’’ parade down Central Avenue at 10 a.m. Saturday; most events at the Fort Museum throughout the weekend; includes family-friendly stages shows, musical entertainment in the Opera House and under the Big Top, food and craft vendors and more. 7-8 — Hillbilly Sales, Webster County Fairgrounds, Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; admissions is $1 per person older than 12. 8 — Karl King Municipal Band Concert, 7:30 p.m.
