John Mikos’s father opened his furniture store at 3336 5th Ave. S. in August of 1953. For nearly six decades and two generations of ownership, area residents have depended on the Mikos family to provide them with quality home furnishings at affordable prices. "We build personal relationships with our customers," said Mikos. "We see the people we serve out and about in the community and interact with them at school, church or community events."

Mikos believes that fact drives the company’s employees to provide a higher level of customer service as well as empowering his customers to make better choices with their purchasing options.
