And it's a LOUSY property tax system by which an acre of $10,000+/acre farmland pays one-seventh the tax paid for one-third of an acre in a small-town residential lot, and nearly twice more than THAT for a small-town commercial lot! Ever wonder why rural towns are shrinking and then disappearing? Let Iverson, Branstad or anyone else, Rep. or Dem, try to correct that!
