Got a good "victory garden going," ColB? Wouldn't want you to go under with all that Franken-food.

Ha! I'm trying! I planted two Cascade Hops plants last year and was told that they're not good for much until at least the second year. I believe them now as I feel I have two aliens sprouting out of the ground already-don't know if I'll have the room for them to spread-lol!

Plant a money crop. Marijuana has made billionairs south of the border. And look at the bright side, if you get caught you'll get a roof over your head free medical and food and a rec room secound to none! (Plus alot of other fringes)

That's funny Taxed. Marijuana isn't a big deal out here yet, because it is still technically illegal, there are large amounts being grown by cartels from south of the border right here in Oregon on Bureau of Land Management land. Hikers have come across guys with serious weapons out in the woods on more than one occasion. If they would just wise up and legalize & tax it, more money could come in and the black market wouldn't exist for the losers hiding out in the woods.

Ha! Yeah, I actually thought it would be neat to brew my own IPA with hops from the backyard but, there is a lot for me to learn yet. I don't even know when the hops are right for picking and using. An old roommate of mine bought me a home brew kit so, I'm sort of obligate now to use it so, the next time he asks, I can actually say I've used it-lol!
