I see in the council packet they talk about buying the property then reselling the house? Who does this guy know in city hall? Why not just pay 10-15k for the garage and be done?

the property is only accessed at $52,700 and most property in this kind of shape in FD is sold below accessed value.

The majority of property is over assesed in this town, but they are not going to lower them because they will lose tax money and the spenders and the City Manager don't want that.

I would argue that property is not over accessed but much property in FD is under cared for. There is a difference between fair market value and accessed value and that difference is often in the form of the condition of the property.
