A campaign in Fort Dodge and the northwest Iowa area, 40 Days for LIfe, will be conducted Wednesday through Nov. 2.
At midnight Tuesday, an ecumenical pro-life prayer vigil be held on North 27th Street just north of First Avenue South. Information is available from Laura Anderson, pastoral minister for Holy Trinity Parish, by calling 573-3616.
This campaign will also be conducted in 170 other cities throughout 45 states and in Canada. It is a community-based campaign that draws attention to abortion through the use of a three-point program of prayer and fasting, constant vigil and community outreach.
