Conferences set at WC High School
WEBSTER CITY - Webster City High school would like to invite all parents to parent/teacher conferences from 2 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at the high school.
Information from student's files can be picked up at the table outside of the office. Each student's teachers will need to be seen to get specific classroom information. Visits with all students' teachers are encouraged. Conferences should be limited to 10 minutes.
Waynar named
to Dean's List
Maria Waynar has been named to the Dean's List at St. Ambrose University for the fall 2008 semester. Waynar, a sophomore psychology major, achieved a 4.0 grade point average. She is the daughter of Mike and Ann Waynar, of Fort Dodge, and a 2007 graduate of St. Edmond High School.
Winkler named
to Dean's List
Brooke Winkler has been named to the Dean's List at the University of Nebraska Lincoln's College of Arts and Sciences for the fall 2008 semester. To be named to the Dean's List, students must have achieved a grade point average of 3.7 or high and have completed a minimun of 12 credit hours. Winkler, of Fort Dodge, is a sophomore majoring in psychology.
Bauer named
to Dean's List
Sarah Bauer, of Fort Dodge, was named to the University of Nebraska Omaha Fall 2008 Dean's List. To be eligible, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or better.
Augustine awarded scholarship
Andrew Augustin,e a 2009 graduating senior from St Edmond Catholic High School, has been awarded the $500 Frontier Community Credit Union Scholarship. He is the son of Jim and Margo Augustine, of Fort Dodge.
Roethler awarded scholarship
Phillip Roethler, a senior at Twin River Valley High School, has been awarded the Postal Employees Credit Union Scholarship. He is the son of Brian and Julie Roethler, of Livermore. The scholarship is for $1,000.
