St. Paul Lutheran Church will hold a service of remembrance to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the fire which destroyed the church.

The Ashes to Glory service will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the church, 400 S. 13th St., with a reception and informal memory sharing following in the fellowship hall. There will be archives from the fire to view, tours given of the new facility and dessert and beverages.

The Rev. Chris Schwanz was pastor of the church in 1999, and he will return to share some of his memories. Music will shared by Angela Naeve, who was the music teacher at St. Paul Lutheran Church during the year of the fire. The Fort Dodge Fire Department and the Police Department will be recognized for their assistance during the fire.

The service is open to the public. Information is available at the church office by calling 955-7285.
