MANSON - For the first time, the Perrys from Tennessee will present a concert of southern gospel music at 7 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Manson Mennonite Church, 1310 Eighth St., Manson.
The concert is open to the public. A freewill offering will be accepted.
The Perrys have been singing for more than 37 years, with solid, traditional southern gospel music forming the foundation of every song the group has chosen to sing, including their newest Daywind Records release "Almost Morning." They have performed with Gaither Homecomings and Dollywood, as well as national conventions.
Anchoring the group are Tracy and Libbi Stuffle, the husband-and-wife duo who manage the group and sing. He sings bass and emcees most of the program, and she, the only remaining original member, sings alto. Troy Peach sings baritone, Joseph Habedank sings lead, and Brian Elliott is the pianist. Jared Stuffle, son of Tracy and Libbi Stuffle, is in charge of video and sound.
