Webster County officials are searching for a suspect who allegedly fired shots from a vehicle at another vehicle on a rural gravel road near Clare Wednesday afternoon, according to Webster County Sheriff Brian Mickelson.
"An extensive investigation is ongoing," Mickelson said.
Mickelson said the incident reportedly involved a vehicle chase where one vehicle crashed into the ditch. The suspect ran from the scene, he said. The suspect's name was not released.
