Webster County 4-H members attended the Region 7 4-H Legislative Day held in Des Moines on March 22. To start the day, 4-H members met up with other 4-H’ers from Hardin, Hamilton and Wright counties at the Hall of Pride. After viewing the exhibits, members had a tour of the Capitol then could meet with their legislators.
The Webster County 4-H members were recognized in the Senate Chamber and watched as a bill was passed. Sen. Daryl Beall, D-Fort Dodge, answered questions and explained proceedings of the senate. Rep. Helen Miller, D-Fort Dodge, visited with the 4-H’ers too that day.
