Members of the Fort Dodge Senior High National Honor Society welcomed 28 new members at the annual induction ceremony Sunday in the Senior High Gail Niceswanger Theater.
The National Honor Society is a national organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, the Senior High National Honor Society selects students who demonstrate leadership, scholarship, service, and outstanding character.
The organization not only acknowledges students for their accomplishments, but encourages students to develop their skills further through involvement in activities, school events and community service.
