Maxine (Ascherl) Merk, who has served for more than 30 years as front desk manager for Maggio Dental Office, is retiring.
Besides the years with Drs. Paul and Matt Maggio, she worked with Dr. Darrell Mergen for several years.
Merk and husband Darrel will move to Charlotte, N.C., to be closer to their adult children.
Cindy Barba, of Fort Dodge, is now the office manager for Maggio.
