SPENCER - Rockers Huey Lewis and The News will open the grandstand entertainment at the Clay County Fair on Sept. 10, and country superstar Alan Jackson will end the fair run on Sept. 18.
Grandstand tickets go on sale at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Huey Lewis and The News have been defying the rock oddsmakers for three decades. The group tours worldwide.
Jackson's chart success has been chronicled in the release a career-spanning, double-disc collection featuring all 34 of his No. 1 hits to date. He has sold more than 50 million albums and writes most of his own material.
