The Webster County Chapter, No. 29, of the Disabled American Veterans, awarded 12 $1,000 Marjorie Hubel Scholarships to relatives of members attending college this fall. Those awarded this year's scholarships are, from Fort Dodge: Abby Biggins, Angela Sande, Jenna Payne, Amanda Becker, Stephanie Biggins, Matthew Schill, Patrick Riley, Mercedes Underwood, Sarah Neverman, Tyler Wingerson and Abby Ault; and from Hinton is Shelby Birocci.
