WEBSTER CITY - The Kendall Young Library will hold a come-and-go "Around the World" celebration from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday for children ages 3 through fourth-grade completion.
The countries of China, Mexico and India will be explored, and there will be food, crafts and games included.
From 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, a representative of the Des Moines Zoo will provide a program with animals at the library, 1201 Willson Ave., for children 5 years old through fourth grade. Preregistration is necessary.
There will be a story and stage show with balloons and kids' participation from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. July 27 at the library.
It is a free family program for children ages 4 and older.
