WEBSTER CITY - The movie "Waiting for Superman" will be shown at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Kendall Young Library in Webster City.
The movie is free and open to the public.
This is a documentary feature in which the director follows a handful of promising kids through a system that inhibits, rather than encourages, academic growth.
Other children's movies are scheduled.
At 10:30 a.m. Thursday, the PG movie "Madagascar 2" will be shown for children in kindergarten and above.
At 10:30 a.m. Saturday, the PG movie "Tangled" for children in kindergarten and above will be shown, and the G-rated movie "Lion King II: Simba's Pride" will be shown at 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 27.
