The Alzheimer's Association "Walk to End Alzheimer's" will be Saturday in the Career Education Building at Iowa Central Community College.
Walk registration starts at 9 a.m. Teams and individuals can go online to www.alz.org/greateriowa before Friday to sign up. This will reduce registration time on Saturday morning.
The walk will start at 10 a.m., with opening ceremonies led by Sen. Daryl Beall, D-Fort Dodge. The walk can be as little as a few steps or as long as two miles. Participants will then join together at a flower garden tribute for closing ceremonies.
