Emily Beckley, 5, is fighting cancer for the second time.
A "Happy Birthday Princess Emily" benefit will help the family in that fight.
The benefit will run from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 400 S. 13th St. A dinner will be served for a freewill offering, and there will be children's carnival games, plus a magic show, the Bouncy Thing, a cake walk and bake sale.
Both a live and silent auction are planned, plus a 50/50 drawing.
The benefit uses the birthday theme because Monday is Beckley's birthday.
When Beckley is being treated at Blank Children's Hospital, her mother, Melanie, stays at the Ronald McDonald House, and to help there, she is collecting pop tabs. The person who brings the most pop tabs to the benefit will win a prize.
Information on the benefit or how to help the family is available by calling Melanie Beckley at www.FightingForEmily.com.
