In observance of the Veterans Day holiday on Friday, refuse collection routes for the city of Fort Dodge will be as follows:
Refuse normally collected on Thursday will be collected on Wednesday.
Refuse normally collected on Friday will be collected on Thursday.
Today's collection will be on the normal schedule.
Central maintenance facility yard waste disposal site located at 3001 Eighth Ave. S. will be open normal hours on Friday from 8 a.m. till noon.
Curbside yard waste will still be picked up on Wednesday.
The sanitation division requests that residents place their refuse, recyclables and yard waste for collection by 6 a.m. on these dates.
