St. Edmond High School competed in the Bishop Garrigan Quiz Bowl Tournament in Algona on Oct. 15 and made it into the championship round, finishing second to Armstrong Ringsted in a competitive race. This is the first year for high school quiz bowl at St. Edmond in recent history and 20 students actively participate in this trivia-style competition. This tournament consisted of 51 teams from 19 schools competing for 16 spots in the afternoon playoff rounds.
