WEBSTER CITY - Parents, teachers, community members and youths are invited to a panel discussion about reducing drug and alcohol use among young people. The discussion will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Webster City Middle School. A light dinner will be included.
The panel of speakers comprises Police Chief Brian Hughes; Deb Rolfs, of Community and Family Resources; and Heather Kierzek, Webster City District Court liaison.
Topics to be covered include signs of drug or alcohol abuse in youths, reducing the risk of children starting to use drugs or alcohol and what resources are available to youths and parents.
