First Christian Church will have an animal blessing ceremony at Almost Home Humane Society at 1 p.m. Dec. 17.
The public is welcome to attend the service. Pets must be on a leash or in a carrier.
Donations of blankets, towels, food and toys for the shelter will be accepted.
