Four people were treated and released following a Friday night accident involving the Iowa Central Community College swim team bus, according to Dan Kinney, college president.
The bus, carrying the swim team, coach and assistant coach, was in an accident on I-29 between Sioux Falls and Sioux City. According to Kinney, a pickup in front of the bus suddenly slowed, causing the bus to rearend the truck. He said four individuals were taken to a nearby hospital, treated and released.
Kinney said another bus was sent to retrieve the team, and the extent of the damage to the bus is unknown at this time.
