MANSON — Don Kaufman, of Manson, will celebrate his 90 birthday from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Mennonite Church in Manson.

His family includes his wife Fern; Lloyd Kaufman, Des Moines; Dean and Terri Kaufman, Donnie and Paul Zeka, and Rosie and Bruce Lenz, all of Manson. He has three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Donald Ray Kaufman was born on Jan. 27, 1922, in Havelock. He graduated from Manson High School in 1940 and attended Iowa State University in Ames. He and his wife farmed and raised their family together on a farm near Knerim untill their retirement when they moved to Manson.
