To the editor:
We are writing to thank the county workers for the work they did in front of our home on Parker Drive. They corrected the damage caused by the water main installation for Verasun. They removed the retaining wall that was ruined during that project and took out all of the trees that were dead or dying. We haven't been able to mow this area since that project was completed, but the county workers reshaped the ditch, graded it and seeded it so it will now be able to handled the heavy rains. They left the area ready for us to plant new trees in the spring and even recommended a source for new trees.
We have been in our home since 1990 and have always had excellent service from the county workers - from snow removal to fixing the washouts after heavy rains - so thanks again - we appreciate all you have done for us.
