Titans thump Eagles

ROCKWELL CITY - The South Central Calhoun girls cruised to a 51-15 victory over Southeast Webster-Grand on Tuesday.

Haley Birks led the Titans with 19 points. Kori Assman added 12 points.

Anna Coder had five points for Southeast Webster-Grand.

EAGLE GROVE - The Clarion-Goldfield girls earned a 60-40 North Central Conference triumph over Eagle Grove Tuesday night.

Mackenzie Haupt sparked the Cowgirls (10-10 overall, 8-9 NCC) with 18 points.

Jacey Anderson chipped in 11 points for C-G.

For the Eagles (0-18, 0-16), Lexie Miller finished with 12.

Wolverines roll

WEST BEND - The West Bend-Mallard girls notched a convincing 54-36 Cornbelt Conference victory over Ventura on Tuesday.

Sarah Berte tallied a game-high 16 points for the Wolverines.

Kayla Banwart added nine points for WB-M.

Emily Mathews paced the Lady Vikes with 10 points.

Cougars rout Warriors

MANSON - The Manson Northwest Webster girls pounded Prairie Valley by a 67-44 final on Tuesday night.

Jessie Hamman ignited the Cougars (15-4 overall) with a game-high 22 points.

Ellie Herzberg also contributed 17 points for MNW, while Amanda Bush added 16.

For the Warriors (10-7), Jaclyn Rittgers finished with 13 points.

Lynx fall short on road

IOWA FALLS - The Webster City girls failed to get on track Tuesday night, dropping a 48-30 North Central Conference decision to Iowa Falls-Alden.

Katie Holdgrafer finished with 15 points for the Lynx (4-13 overall, 4-10 NCC), who were outscored 29-7 over the final 10 minutes.

Lindsay Barnhart powered the Cadets (8-11, 8-8) with 14 points.
