To the editor:
The Friends of Oleson Park Zoo would like to thank: Mayor Matt Bemrich for officiating our Groundhog Day ceremony, Tom Thumb Deli for providing doughnuts, Party Productions for supplying a top hat, Citizens Community Credit Union for their generous donation, The Messenger and Channel 13 for covering the event and to all the donors that gave to provide food and care for our animals.
Even though Chubbers predicted six more weeks of winter, I think everyone wasn't too upset about his news since the first six weeks of winter has been so mild.
The Oleson Park Zoo would not be possible without the community's support.
(Chubbers returned to the zoo to find a new baby goat friend. Spring is in sight.)
