To the editor:
My family went to the United States Navy Band Sea Chanters concert that was at the Decker Auditorium on the Iowa Central Community College campus March 16, 2012.
First, I'd like to send a big thank you to the Karl King Band, Iowa Central Community College and The Messenger for sponsoring such a wonderful event. By having it free of cost allowed my whole family to attend. We were able to do something as a family. There aren't enough ways to express my gratitude.
Second, the performance by the United States Navy Band Sea Chanters was most excellent. They not only sang with their voices but with their hearts. They proved to us that they love what they are doing and I pray they continue.
Again, thank you and please don't hesitate to give Fort Dodge a performance like this again.
