The administrative offices of the Fort Dodge Police Department will be closed Tuesday to allow for its move back to the Webster County Law Enforcement Center.

Anyone who calls the Police Department's number that day will be transferred to the Webster County Communications Center, according to Police Chief Tim Carmody.

Carmody said the department will still handle emergency calls through 911 and non-emergency calls through 573-2323.

"We appreciate the community's patience as we transition back to our home office," Carmody said.
