Bobby "Bob" Dean Grady, 74, of Fort Dodge, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012 at his home after a long courage battle with cancer surrounded by his loving family. Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Fort Dodge.
Bob is survived by his wife, Lynette; his children, Jerry (Lorrie) Grady of Fort Dodge, Justin (Joleen) Grady of Elizabeth, CO, and Terry (Trisha) Long of Texas; eight grandchildren, Abby, Ally, Jamie, Brianne, Terah, Shyann, Chaney, and JC; three brothers, Richard (Delois) Grady, Ronnie (Arla) Grady, and Tommy (Kay) Grady; two sisters, Marjorie Rogers and Kathy Grady; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Shanon Grady; and a nephew, Clint Pringle.
Bobby "Bob" Dean Grady, the son of Dave and Nema (Weaver) Grady was born August 7, 1937 in Ralph, Iowa. He married Loyla Jondle on January 16, 1958 and the couple later divorced. On September 18, 1975, Bob married Lynette Ferguson. He worked for Lehigh Sewer Pipe and was a heavy equipment operator for the landfills until his retirement. Bob farmed and raised many Quarter and Paint Horses. He also was a co-owned (Bob and Jerry) Cripple Creek Bucking Bulls transporting rodeo bulls around the country. He enjoyed riding horses, coon hunting, camping, and spending time with his family and his grandchildren and friends.
