Joyce E. McInville, 65, of Fort Dodge, went home to her Lord Monday, April 2, 2012 at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge.
The service honoring Joyce's life will be 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 6, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Edward Durand officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery. The visitation is 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Memorials may be directed to the discretion of the family.
Joyce is survived by her husband Gerald; her children, Jaci Sande, Fort Dodge; Jerry Jr., and his wife Mary, Johnston; Jenny Fitzgerald, Denver, Colo.; Jason and his wife Jessie, Urbandale; 12 grandchildren and her sister Patti Davis, Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Dale, Don and Bob.

JOYCE MC INVILLE
Joyce Elaine Davis, the daughter of Cecil and Marie (Gottschalk) Davis, was born February 12, 1947 in Fort Dodge. She graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. On December 24, 1967, Joyce was united in marriage to Gerald McInville in Watertown, S.D. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Joyce was employed at J.C. Penney's, operated a tropical fish shop and groomed dogs from her home. Later she owned and operated Joyce's Emporium and Arcade from the later 1980s until 1993. She was also a bridal consultant from 1994 to 1996.
Joyce was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. She enjoyed flowers and creating Raggedy Ann dolls which were sent to places throughout the world. She enjoyed garage sales, was an excellent cook and looked forward to cooking for large family gatherings. Joyce was proud to be the daughter of Cecil and Marie and she especially treasured time spent with her children and grandchildren.
