First Baptist Church, Fort Dodge, will host the Mid-American Baptist Women's Ministries Area Five Spring Rally from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 21 at the church, 28 N. 10th St. Registration and coffee will be from 9 to 9:30 a.m.
Area 5 includes northwest Iowa churches.
Missionary guest speaker will be Ray Schellinger, who began Deborah's House in Tijuana, Mexico with his wife, Dr. Adalia Schellinger-Gutierrez, and women of Tijuana. Deborah's House brings together services - including shelter, health care and counseling - for victims of domestic abuse and their families. Volunteer teams from Iowa have gone and worked at Deborah's House.
Guests are welcome at the Spring Rally.
The $5 registration fee includes lunch. Call First Baptist Church, 573-3517, by Monday to preregister.
