FD woman charged, armed with intent
A Fort Dodge woman has been arrested and charged with a felony after an alleged incident Tuesday.
Heather Castillo, 31, is charged with going armed with intent and criminal trespass.
Castillo allegedly showed up at a woman's house and demanded to see the woman's daughter. Castillo had "a long metal rod with spikes on each end" with her, according to the criminal complaint filed with the Webster County attorney's office.
The complaint said Castillo was angry at the woman's daughter, and had been told before to not come back to the house.
The woman allegedly didn't know Castillo.
At her initial appearance in Webster County Magistrate Court, Magistrate William Thatcher ordered her held on $5,000 bond. Thatcher also continued the trespass charge for 180 days.
Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 4.
