CARROLL - Keeping their perfect season intact, the St. Edmond boys tennis team blanked Carroll Kuemper by a 9-0 final on Thursday.

Aaron Chalstrom, John Eide, Konrad Laufersweiler, Ben Albright, Jimmy Averill and Zach Gailey all prevailed in singles matches for the Gaels (6-0 overall).

Contributing doubles wins for St. Edmond were the tandems of Chalstrom and Gailey, Eide and Albright and Averill and Laufersweiler.

"Jimmy had a 10-0 victory and played really well," said SEHS head coach Jacob Short. "I thought (Jimmy) and Konrad also had a lot of smart shots in doubles and served really well, too. It was nice to see them put a set like that together and come out on top."

St. Edmond returns to the court Tuesday at Clear Lake.
