NEWS: The "Walk for Animals" at Kennedy Park raised more than $3,000 for the Humane Society of North Central Iowa.

SPORTS: The Sports Page Pride, an 18-and-under softball team from Fort Dodge, defeated Davenport West 3-0 and Dubuque Hempstead 8-2.
