The Fort Dodge boys tennis team dropped a 7-1 decision to Ames here Friday.
Andrew Stover was the lone winner for the Dodgers (2-7 overall) against the Little Cyclones (7-1), taking a singles matchup from Bryan Graveline, 6-2, 6-3.
''I thought we played well, but Ames is extremely solid throughout their lineup,'' FDSH head coach Jared Feddersen said. ''Some of the guys are really starting to find their rhythm, and we hope to continue that through the end of the regular season.
''Andrew's win should really give him a lot of confidence moving forward.''
The match was halted due to inclement weather with three doubles contests still in the process of being completed.
The Dodgers face Des Moines East in a makeup meet on Monday.
