Fowler faces parole violation charge
Jeffrey L. Fowler, 39, of Fort Dodge - already charged with one count of second-degree burglary, two counts of third-degree burglary and one count of attempted burglary earlier this week - was charged with violating the terms of his parole Saturday morning in Webster County Magistrate Court.
Magistrate Bruce Cornell transferred the case to the Parole Board.
Online records indicate Fowler was on probation for a previous burglary conviction. He remains in the Webster County Jail with his bond amount set at $22,000 cash.

Assault, serious - Craig David Lawton, 21, 719 Raymond Drive, transferred to District Court.

Failure to maintain control - Caitlin James, 21, Gowrie, continued 180 days.
Tampering with a witness - Mary McCabe, 46, Minneapolis, Minn., transferred to District Court.
Ongoing criminal conduct - Nicholas Newkirk, 22, 626 N. 23rd St. preliminary hearing scheduled for May 18.
Theft, fourth-degree. two counts - Nicholas Newkirk, 22, 626 N. 23rd St. preliminary hearing scheduled for May 18.
Theft, fifth-degree - Nicholas Newkirk, 22, 626 N. 23rd St. preliminary hearing scheduled for May 18.
Parole violation - Heath Richard Church, 23, 917 S. 20th St., transferred to Parole Board.
