The Angel Ride group is sponsoring a Chairs for Charity challenge to raise money for cancer patients and in preparation for the July 14 event.
The challenge is to obtain an old chair or table and decorate it somehow - whether it's painted, upholstered, decoupage or mosaic, said event coordinator Lynda Lowery.
"They can be theme chairs such as football teams, wild life, school chairs, whatever they come up with," Lowery said. "The only thing is I want each chair to have a pink ribbon on it somewhere."
Chairs should be completed by the end of June, Lowery said. The chairs will be on display at participating local bars, and then sold raise money for breast cancer patients.
Designers should sign their work on the top or bottom, and upload photos to the Angel Ride facebook page, Lowery said. She also suggested they take before and after pictures.
