The winners of the Frontier Days Parade float competition have been announced.
Taking top honors are:
Best Themed Float - First place, Hy-Vee; second place, Friendship Haven; and third place, Goodwill.
Best of Parade - First place, Fort Dodge Senior High cheerleaders; second place, Hollingsworth School of Dance and Gymnastics.
Best from Outside the City - First place, Model A Club; second place, Des Moines River Valley.
Best Large Commercial - First place, Grace Lutheran Church; second place, Casey's.
Best Small Commercial - First place, Girl Scouts; second place, Personal Computer Solutions.
An awards ceremony is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
