To the editor:
It has been several years since I have written to The Messenger. The last time was when my dear friend and fellow broadcaster Drexel Peterson died. This time is to inquire about donating some historic material to the famous Fort Museum. As many of you will remember, I was part of a few of the local organizations that made a contribution to the entertainment and educational groups of the community - the Karl King Municipal Band, KVFD Radio and TV facilities, Makowaian Indian Lore group, and last - but certainly not least - the Barbershop Harmony Society Chapter. I have a treasure trove of materials that may be of great interest to many of the past and future historical interests - including memorabilia such as pictures, costumes, and so forth. I am now 83 years old and would like to know if there is any interest in preserving these items in the local museum. Please send any inquiries to: Dick Johnson, 2104 Fith Ave. N., Great Falls, MT 59401.
