Minor injuries reported in rollover
SAC COUNTY - A man received minor injuries after getting into a rollover accident Thursday afternoon.
Jeffrey P. Luetje, 50, of Westside, was traveling on Sac County Road M54, 1 1/2 miles south of Sac City, according to Sac County Sheriff Ken McClure.
As Luetje was going west at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, a deer came out of the ditch as he was going between the curves. Luetje swerved out of the way to try and avoid the deer, but McClure said he lost control.
Luetje's 2007 Chevy Colorado rolled into the south ditch, according to McClure, and stopped on the passenger side.
McClure said Luetje received minor injuries and declined medical treatment at the scene.
No charges were filed in the accident.
